Our Story

What is a church? It’s a group of flawed and diverse people who find their common ground in Jesus Christ. It’s a collection of sinners who are thankful they’ve found forgiveness and acceptance through God’s grace. It’s a bunch of nobodies who’ve found their place in the “Body of Christ” (Colossians1:18). The church is God’s building project and His means of saving the world (Matthew 16:18).

God moved in the hearts of a Bible Study group in Big Canoe to form a church that would be centered on the Word, active in the community and reaching to the world. And today, Trinity Church continues to be committed to those same priorities.

If you just want to know more about the life and saving work of Jesus, or want to join a group of Christ-followers, we welcome you to Trinity Church. You will find a church focused on worshipping God, learning and doing His Word, and serving the cause of Christ. It’s a place for loving relationships and spiritual growth. It’s a church, trying to be the kind of church Jesus intended.
