Charles Caudell

Charles was born and raised in Commerce, Georgia. He began attending church as a teenager at the prompting of his grandparents. Charles was heavily involved in boy scouts, achieving his Eagle Scout award and also working as a camp counselor. The many skills Charles learned as a scout helped mold his life as well as a few camp leaders who were true examples and models of Christ in Charles' life. It was the work of the Holy Spirit, through the church and people who God placed in Charles' life that began to work on his heart and help him come to truly know Christ as his Lord and Savior in his early 20's.

Charles has held many volunteer positions with both children and teens in communities and churches over the years. He was on staff as Children's Pastor at New Covenant Worship Center in Athens, Georgia for two years before the Lord called Charles and his family to The Joy House, a ministry for teens in crisis, in 2011. While serving at The Joy House for nearly four years, Charles also served in the Children's Ministry here at Trinity. After leaving The Joy House, Charles transitioned into the Youth Pastor role at Trinity. He feels called by God to partner with parents in mentoring youth through example, the teaching of the Word, prayer, and relationship building in order to bring youth closer to Christ.

Charles married the love of his life, Casey Caudell, in May of 1998. Together, they have two beautiful daughters, Kaylee and Hannah.
